Kitty's Boo-tique is a year-round Halloween online shop based in the UK. It sells some imported stock from the USA alongside more local brands, and Kitty's own items through 'the Kitschenette'. It also hosts a 'Behind the Sofa Podcast' about horror movies, and provides support to the worldwide spooky community through 'the Spooky Self Care Society' on Facebook.
Some of the brands represented there are Bethany Lowe Designs and Beistle (US producers of vintage and vintage-style Halloween decorations), Kreepsville 666, Sourpuss, Grindstore and a number of smaller, independent companies. Kitty's Boo-tique has an ongoing relationship with the US-based Johanna Parker Design, as a Partner in Craft, and as the stockist of some JPD items, including an exclusive range of enamel pins.
I have bought a few items imported by Kitty from the USA: a Johanna Parker ghost design plate, patches by Monsterologist, a Bethany Lowe paper lantern and two planchettes by Fiendies. These are pictured below.
If you have a chance, take a look at Kitty's Boo-tique, and the connected projects: the podcast and the self care group. The Spooky Self Care Society has lots of nice members who are happy to chat about emotional wellbeing and how to approach the anxiety this weird year has triggered in so many of us. The self care prompts of the group all have a cute spooky twist to them.
